Terms & Conditions

Last updated 27 September 2026 Governed by applicable laws of India
On this page

Welcome to Holidayseva.com, operated by HolidaySeva Tours Private Limited ("HolidaySeva", "we", "us" or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Holidayseva.com and any travel enquiry, quotation, reservation, booking, tour package or other service arranged through us. "Customer", "Guest", "Traveller", "you" or "your" means the person accessing our website, making an enquiry, making a booking or travelling under a booking. "Service Provider" or "Supplier" may include hotels, transport operators, airlines, rail-related service providers, ferry or boat operators, guides, restaurants, destination partners and other independent travel service providers. By using Holidayseva.com, requesting a quotation, making a payment or confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable quotation, itinerary, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

1Please read these terms carefully

If you are making a booking on behalf of other travellers, you are responsible for informing them about the relevant booking conditions.

2About HolidaySeva

HolidaySeva Tours Private Limited provides and arranges travel and tourism-related services that may include holiday and tour packages, pilgrimage tours, hotel and accommodation booking, local and outstation transportation, airport and railway station transfers, ferry and boat arrangements, sightseeing, tour guides, meal arrangements, customised travel itineraries, group tours, senior-citizen-friendly travel arrangements, family travel arrangements and other tourism-related services.

The exact services included in your booking will be mentioned in your quotation, booking confirmation or final itinerary. A service that is not specifically mentioned as included should not be considered part of the package.

3Enquiries & quotations

Customers may contact HolidaySeva through our website, telephone, WhatsApp, email, social media or other authorised communication channels. A quotation is normally based on information available at the time it is prepared, and unless specifically stated otherwise, does not guarantee availability.

Prices may change because of

Hotel, vehicle or ferry availability, airfare, rail fare, taxes, entry fees, fuel costs, supplier rates, seasonal or festival demand, foreign exchange and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Validity period

A quotation becomes a confirmed booking only after payment and a booking confirmation. Once a stated validity period expires, price and availability may be revised.

4Booking confirmation

A booking will be considered confirmed only when HolidaySeva has accepted the booking request, the required advance or full payment has been received, and HolidaySeva has issued written confirmation through email, WhatsApp, invoice, booking voucher or another authorised channel. An enquiry, verbal discussion, tentative itinerary or quotation alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.

Customers should check all booking details immediately after receiving confirmation. Any error relating to traveller name, travel date, pickup point, destination, number of travellers, hotel, room type, vehicle, meal plan or contact details should be reported as soon as possible. Changes after confirmation may result in additional charges.

5Booking on behalf of other travellers

If you make a booking for family members, friends, employees, group members or other travellers, you confirm that you have authority to provide their information and make travel arrangements on their behalf. The person making the booking is responsible for:

  • Providing correct traveller information
  • Informing all travellers about the itinerary and relevant Terms & Conditions
  • Informing travellers about cancellation conditions
  • Ensuring all travellers have valid identification and travel documents
  • Communicating special requirements to HolidaySeva in advance

HolidaySeva is not responsible for difficulties caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the booking person.

6Prices

Package prices are based on the services specifically mentioned in the quotation or itinerary. Unless clearly stated otherwise, the price may not include personal expenses, tips, porter charges, additional meals or sightseeing, entry tickets, camera charges, special Puja charges, medical expenses, travel insurance, additional transportation or ferry charges, early check-in, late check-out, additional room requirements, additional luggage charges, or activities not mentioned in the itinerary.

Customers should carefully review the Inclusions and Exclusions before making payment.

7Taxes & government charges

Applicable taxes, government charges or statutory fees may be included or excluded depending on the quotation. Any new tax, levy, tourism fee, permit fee, government charge or statutory charge introduced after confirmation may be payable additionally if legally applicable to the booking. HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer about any material additional charges.

8Payment terms

The payment schedule applicable to a booking will be communicated at the time of quotation or booking. Depending on the package, HolidaySeva may require an advance payment, partial payment, stage-wise payments, or full payment before travel. The booking may remain unconfirmed until the required payment is received.

The customer is responsible for paying the balance amount within the payment deadline mentioned in the quotation, invoice or booking confirmation. If payment is not received by the due date, HolidaySeva may cancel or release the booking after reasonable notice, particularly where supplier payment deadlines apply. Cancellation charges may apply according to the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy.

9Payment methods

HolidaySeva may accept payment through authorised methods such as bank transfer, UPI, payment gateway, debit or credit card, or other methods approved by us. Customers should make payments only to payment details officially provided by HolidaySeva.

HolidaySeva will never ask for your ATM PIN, UPI PIN, internet banking password, card PIN, OTP or CVV through ordinary communication. Contact us immediately if you receive a suspicious payment request claiming to represent our company.

10Booking documents

After receiving the necessary payment and booking details, HolidaySeva may provide documents such as booking confirmation, hotel voucher, transport details, pickup information, itinerary, payment receipt or invoice, supplier confirmation and contact information. Customers must review these documents carefully, and any error should be reported promptly.

11Traveller identification

Customers must carry valid government-issued identification as required for their journey — such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence or other government-approved identification. Certain hotels, transport operators, government authorities or service providers may refuse service if acceptable identification is not produced. HolidaySeva will not be responsible for loss of service resulting from the traveller's failure to carry required documents.

12Passport, visa & international travel

For international travel, customers are responsible for ensuring that they hold a valid passport, appropriate visa, required transit visa, immigration documents, health documentation, travel permits, and any other documents required by the destination or transit country.

Visa approval is controlled by the relevant embassy, consulate or government authority, and HolidaySeva cannot guarantee the approval of any visa. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, refusal or delay of a visa does not automatically entitle a customer to a full refund of services that have already become non-refundable.

13Hotels & accommodation

Hotel accommodation is subject to availability. Hotel categories, star classifications, facilities and standards may vary between destinations. Unless specifically mentioned, standard hotel check-in and check-out rules will apply, early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed, additional charges may apply for either, and special room views or specific room numbers cannot be guaranteed.

Hotel rooms may differ from photographs shown online because hotels may have several room types, layouts and renovations.

14Hotel substitution

In exceptional circumstances, a confirmed hotel may become unavailable due to overbooking, operational problems, government restrictions, natural events, supplier cancellation, safety concerns or other circumstances outside HolidaySeva's reasonable control. Where reasonably possible, HolidaySeva will try to arrange an alternative hotel of a similar category or suitable standard, and will communicate available alternatives where a significant change is required.

15Transportation

Transportation may be provided directly by HolidaySeva or through independent transport operators. The type of vehicle will normally be mentioned in the itinerary or quotation, but a specific vehicle model, registration number, driver or seating arrangement is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. Vehicles may be changed because of breakdown, safety concerns, availability, road restrictions, local regulations, weather or operational requirements, in which case reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a suitable replacement.

16Vehicle capacity & luggage

Customers should ensure that the selected vehicle is suitable for the number of passengers and expected luggage. If an additional or larger vehicle becomes necessary because the customer carries substantially more luggage than reasonably expected, additional charges may apply. Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings.

17Ferry & boat services

Ferry and boat operations may depend on weather, tide and river conditions, visibility, government or port authority instructions, local administration, safety regulations, vessel availability and crowd conditions. Ferry or boat timings cannot always be guaranteed, and HolidaySeva may adjust travel timing, routing or transportation arrangements where reasonably necessary because of ferry conditions.

18Private ferry or boat services

Where a private ferry, launch or boat service is requested, availability and pricing will depend on local operating conditions and supplier confirmation, and may be subject to government permissions, weather, tide conditions, local restrictions, safety requirements and vessel availability. HolidaySeva will not operate or recommend a service in violation of applicable safety or government requirements.

19Sightseeing

Sightseeing schedules are prepared based on normal operating conditions. An attraction may become unavailable because of weekly closure, a religious event, maintenance, government order, security restriction, weather, festival crowds, traffic restrictions, local administration or unexpected closure. HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to provide the planned sightseeing programme but cannot guarantee that every attraction will remain open.

20Itinerary changes

Travel itineraries are subject to reasonable change when circumstances require it — including traffic, weather, government restrictions, operational requirements, supplier availability, safety concerns, ferry schedules, festival crowds, road closures or natural events. Where possible, we will attempt to provide substantially similar services. A minor change in sightseeing order, pickup time, meal timing or route will not normally be treated as cancellation of the entire package.

21Pilgrimage tours & religious destinations

Pilgrimage destinations may experience heavy crowds, queues, traffic restrictions and special government arrangements. HolidaySeva may provide reasonable assistance with travel coordination, local transportation, Puja-related arrangements or Darshan planning where included in the package. However, HolidaySeva cannot guarantee immediate Darshan, a particular Darshan time, queue duration, special entry, specific Puja timing, access to restricted areas, a particular priest or religious service, or the absence of crowds. Temple, religious and government authorities retain control over access and religious procedures.

22GangaSagar & festival travel

Travel during major events such as GangaSagar Mela, Makar Sankranti and other festival periods may be affected by unusually heavy crowds, government traffic plans, ferry queues, security checks and local administrative restrictions. Travel time during such periods may be significantly longer than on normal days, and vehicle access may also be restricted at designated points by government authorities. HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to manage transportation and provide assistance according to the package, but government and local administration instructions will take priority.

23Senior citizens & travellers requiring assistance

HolidaySeva welcomes senior citizens and may arrange services intended to make travel more comfortable, where specifically included — such as transportation assistance, ferry coordination, reduced unnecessary walking where reasonably possible, local transportation, accommodation planning, meal arrangements and general travel assistance.

However, a senior-citizen-friendly package does not mean the journey will be completely free from walking, stairs, queues, uneven surfaces or physical effort. Certain destinations may have infrastructure limitations outside HolidaySeva's control.

24Medical conditions & fitness to travel

Travellers are responsible for considering whether they are medically and physically fit for the journey. Anyone with a significant health condition, mobility limitation or ongoing treatment should consult an appropriate medical professional before travelling where necessary, and should carry required medicines, prescriptions, medical information, emergency contact details and necessary mobility or support equipment.

HolidaySeva personnel are travel-service providers and should not be treated as medical professionals unless a qualified medical professional has specifically been provided as part of a package.

25Special assistance

Customers should inform HolidaySeva before confirmation if any traveller requires wheelchair assistance, reduced walking, accessible accommodation, special transportation, special meals, assistance for an elderly traveller or child, or other accessibility-related arrangements. We will make reasonable efforts to arrange requested assistance, but availability depends on the destination and suppliers, and special services may involve additional charges.

26Children

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for children travelling with them. Child pricing may depend on age, hotel policy, extra bed requirements, transportation rules and supplier policy, and proof of age may be required. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the safety and supervision of children throughout the journey.

27Meals

Meals will be provided only where specifically mentioned in the package. Meal timing and menu may vary depending on destination, hotel, restaurant and operational conditions. Where a package specifies vegetarian meals, HolidaySeva will arrange vegetarian meals through the relevant service provider. Customers with allergies or strict dietary requirements must inform us before travelling — while reasonable efforts may be made, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment at independent restaurants or hotels.

28Personal expenses

Unless specifically included, customers are responsible for personal expenses including shopping, laundry, room service, minibar, telephone calls, personal tips, additional food, transportation or sightseeing, medical expenses and personal activities. Such expenses must normally be paid directly by the customer.

29Travel insurance

Customers are encouraged to consider suitable travel insurance, particularly for international travel, expensive bookings, senior citizens, medical emergencies, trip interruption, lost baggage and cancellation risks. Travel insurance is not included unless specifically stated in the package, and any insurance claim is subject to the insurer's own policy terms.

30Customer cancellation

Cancellation requests should be communicated to HolidaySeva through an authorised written communication channel, preferably email or WhatsApp. The date and time at which HolidaySeva receives the cancellation request may be used to determine applicable cancellation charges. All customer cancellations will be subject to the HolidaySeva Cancellation & Refund Policy, supplier conditions and the terms stated in the relevant quotation or booking confirmation.

31Supplier cancellation charges

Certain suppliers — hotels, airlines, transport operators, ferry operators, activity providers, event organisers — may impose their own cancellation charges. Where a service becomes non-refundable under supplier rules, HolidaySeva may be unable to refund that portion, subject always to applicable law and the particular booking circumstances.

32No-show

A traveller may be treated as a No-Show if they fail to arrive at the agreed pickup point, hotel, transport terminal or service location within the required time without prior communication. A no-show may result in cancellation of the affected service. Refund eligibility will be determined according to the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy, supplier conditions and applicable law.

33Missed services due to customer delay

Customers must report at the agreed pickup or departure point on time. If a customer misses a vehicle, ferry, flight, train, sightseeing tour, hotel booking or activity because of their own delay, HolidaySeva will try to assist where reasonably possible. However, additional charges for alternative arrangements will normally be payable by the customer.

34Changes requested by the customer

Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability — including travel date changes, hotel changes, vehicle upgrades, room changes, added or reduced passengers, pickup-point changes and itinerary changes. Supplier amendment fees, cancellation charges and price differences may apply. HolidaySeva will inform the customer of known additional charges before completing a material requested amendment where reasonably practicable.

35Cancellation or material changes by HolidaySeva

HolidaySeva may occasionally need to cancel or materially change a service because of supplier failure, safety concerns, government instructions, natural events, operational difficulties, insufficient availability or other unavoidable circumstances.

Where HolidaySeva cancels a service for reasons within its reasonable control, we will provide the remedy required by the booking terms and applicable law, which may include an alternative arrangement, credit or refund for the affected unprovided service. Where cancellation results from independent suppliers or circumstances outside our reasonable control, refund or rescheduling options may also depend on supplier rules and amounts recoverable from those suppliers, subject to the customer's statutory rights.

36Force majeure & events beyond reasonable control

HolidaySeva will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events that could not reasonably be prevented or controlled — such as floods, cyclones, earthquakes, extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, strikes, transport disruption, road blocks, ferry suspension, government orders, curfews, political or religious disturbances, fire, major technical failures, or airport, railway or port closures.

In such situations, HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to assist customers and find practical alternatives. Additional costs arising from extended stays, alternative transportation or other arrangements may be payable by the customer unless otherwise required by applicable law or covered by a supplier or insurer.

37Conduct of travellers

Customers must behave responsibly and comply with applicable laws, hotel and transport rules, safety instructions, government instructions, religious-place rules and local regulations.

HolidaySeva reserves the right, where reasonably necessary for safety or legal reasons, to discontinue assistance to a traveller who engages in violence, threatening behaviour, serious harassment, deliberate property damage, illegal activity or other serious misconduct creating a significant safety risk. Additional expenses may be the traveller's responsibility, subject to applicable law.

38Alcohol, drugs & illegal activities

Customers are responsible for complying with local laws relating to alcohol, prohibited substances and other regulated activities. HolidaySeva accepts no responsibility for penalties, arrest, fines or loss arising from a traveller's illegal conduct.

39Personal belongings

Travellers are responsible for their belongings — cash, jewellery, mobile phones, cameras, passports, identification, luggage, electronic devices and medicines. HolidaySeva recommends that valuable items should not be left unattended. Loss or theft should be reported promptly to the relevant hotel, transport operator, police authority or other appropriate service provider.

40Third-party service providers

Many travel services are provided by independent third parties — hotels, airlines, rail operators, transport companies, ferry and boat operators, restaurants, guides, activity providers and payment gateways. Where HolidaySeva acts as an arranger or intermediary, the independent supplier may have its own Terms & Conditions, and HolidaySeva does not control every operational decision made by independent suppliers. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude responsibilities that HolidaySeva is legally required to accept.

41Supplier terms

Customers may also be bound by the applicable conditions of the hotel, airline, transport provider, ferry operator or other supplier. Where supplier terms relate specifically to the service provided by that supplier, those terms may apply in addition to HolidaySeva's booking conditions.

42Photographs & website descriptions

Photographs displayed on Holidayseva.com, social media, advertisements or promotional materials are intended to provide a general representation of destinations, hotels, vehicles and travel experiences. Actual conditions may differ because of season, weather, renovation, room or vehicle allocation, local changes or supplier updates. HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to keep material information accurate.

43Website information

HolidaySeva makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current information on Holidayseva.com. However, occasional errors, outdated information or technical inaccuracies may occur, and information such as prices, schedules, hotel availability, government rules, ferry timing, entry fees and attraction opening hours may change without prior notice. A website price or description is not binding where there is an obvious typographical or technical error. If a material pricing error is identified before service is provided, HolidaySeva will notify the customer and provide appropriate available options.

44Website availability

HolidaySeva does not guarantee uninterrupted access to Holidayseva.com. The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, server issues, internet failures, security updates, technical problems or events outside our control. Temporary website unavailability does not automatically affect confirmed bookings.

45Intellectual property rights

Such material may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

46Restrictions on use of website content

Without appropriate permission, users must not copy substantial portions of our original website content for commercial use, republish our tour packages as their own, reproduce our logo, impersonate HolidaySeva, create misleading advertisements using our company identity, unlawfully modify or distribute protected website content, or use the website for fraudulent purposes.

Reasonable personal use of website information for planning or completing a HolidaySeva booking is permitted.

47Unauthorised website use

Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, introduce viruses or malicious software, interfere with website security, misuse customer accounts, obtain confidential information without authorisation, or conduct fraudulent transactions. HolidaySeva may take appropriate technical or legal action against serious misuse.

49Third-party advertising

Holidayseva.com may use third-party advertising, analytics or marketing services. Such third parties may use cookies or similar technologies according to applicable law and their own privacy policies. Further details regarding personal information, cookies and advertising technologies are provided in the HolidaySeva Privacy Policy.

50Privacy

HolidaySeva handles customer information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. By using our services, you acknowledge that certain personal information may need to be shared with hotels, transport providers and other suppliers to complete your booking. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

51Customer communications

By providing your mobile number or email address for an enquiry or booking, you agree that HolidaySeva may contact you regarding your enquiry, quotation, booking, payment, hotel, transportation, pickup, travel changes or customer support — by telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp or other appropriate channels. Promotional communications will be handled according to applicable requirements and our Privacy Policy.

52Customer reviews & feedback

Customers may voluntarily provide feedback, testimonials or reviews. Where a customer permits HolidaySeva to publish a testimonial, we may use it for legitimate promotional purposes. We will not knowingly present a materially altered testimonial in a misleading manner.

53Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HolidaySeva will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where our liability can lawfully be limited, liability relating to a particular booking will generally be limited to reasonable direct losses arising from the affected service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable statutory consumer rights.

54No unlawful exclusion of consumer rights

Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove, restrict or override any right that a customer is legally entitled to under applicable Indian law. If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement will prevail to the extent of that conflict.

55Complaints & customer support

If a customer experiences a problem during a trip, they should contact HolidaySeva as soon as reasonably possible — early notification gives us an opportunity to assist while the journey is still in progress.

Please include with your complaint

Customer name and booking reference, if available
Travel date and a description of the issue

HolidaySeva will make reasonable efforts to review genuine complaints fairly.

56Dispute resolution

HolidaySeva encourages customers to contact us first so that any concern can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved amicably. Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer or other laws.

57Governing law

These Terms & Conditions will be governed and interpreted according to the applicable laws of India. The booking relationship may also be subject to applicable consumer-protection, contract, privacy, taxation, tourism and other statutory requirements.

58Jurisdiction

Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or rights available under applicable consumer law, disputes relating to HolidaySeva's services or these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Nothing in this clause is intended to restrict a consumer from approaching a forum that applicable law expressly permits them to approach.

59Changes to these Terms & Conditions

HolidaySeva may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary because of changes in services, business practices, law, technology, supplier arrangements or website updates. The revised Terms & Conditions will be published on Holidayseva.com with an updated revision date. For an existing confirmed booking, the terms applicable at the time of booking will generally continue to govern that booking unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed between the parties.

60Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

61No waiver

If HolidaySeva does not immediately enforce a particular provision of these Terms & Conditions, this does not automatically mean that HolidaySeva has permanently waived that provision.

62Entire booking agreement

For a confirmed booking, the agreement between HolidaySeva and the customer may include these Terms & Conditions, the booking confirmation, the accepted quotation, the final itinerary, the invoice, the Cancellation & Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any specific written conditions agreed for that booking.

Where a specific written term in an individual confirmed quotation or booking document differs from a general term on the website, the specific booking term may apply to that particular booking, subject to applicable law.
